Error Messages Solutions
Memory is full. Only one copy of documents was printed. Not enough memory in the printer to print the documents at the
specified number of copies. The printer automatically prints only
one copy of the documents so that it can continue printing. To
print multiple copies of the documents, try simplifying the page
by reducing the number of graphics or reducing the number and
type of fonts.
Memory is full. Data was printed with low resolution. Not enough memory in the printer to print the page at the
specified print quality. The printer automatically lowers the print
quality so that it can continue printing. If the quality of the printout
is not acceptable, try simplifying the page by reducing the number
of graphics or reducing the number and type of fonts.
DNS error while connecting to POP3 server. Check the product’s DNS settings from the control panel, and
check the DNS settings for the server, the computer, or the access
point. To check the settings from the control panel, select Setup >
Network Settings > General Network Setup.
DNS error while connecting to SMTP server.
Operation canceled. DNS error. Check DNS setting.
SMTP server authentication error. Check the product’s Email Server Settings from the control panel
and make sure each setting is configured correctly.

When you are using the Scan to Network Folder/FTP function,
check that the entered folder path, the user name, and the
password are correct on the computer and the product’s control
panel. Press r on the Scan to Network Folder/FTP top screen, and
then select Save to.
POP3 server authentication error.
Operation canceled.f Authentication error. Check printer
server settings.
SMTP server communication error. Make sure the product is connected to the network. For details, see
the Network Guide.
