Error Message (Error)
An error message indicates that the calibration or scaling process was not successful. After the error
message is displayed, the scanner reverts to input 2 during calibration or scaling and to input 1 during
internal calibration, allowing the appropriate input signal to be applied or programmed.
The error message might be caused by any of the following conditions:
1. Input signal is not connected to the proper terminals, or it is connected backwards.
2. Minimum input span requirements not maintained.

Scanner Copy Function (Copy)
The Copy function is used to copy (or clone) all the settings from one scanner to other scanners requiring
exactly the same setup and programming (i.e. Enabled PVs, display setup, scaling, decimal point, etc.).
Warning!
Only the PDA1200 meter copy cable must be used for scanner-to-
scanner copy function. Using standard CAT5 or other cable will cause
damage to both scanners.

Copy Function Requirements
To successfully copy settings from one scanner to another, both scanners must be set to Slave
Mode. Additionally, they must be the same model, have the same software version, and the
same baud rate setting. See Determining Software Version, page 98, for instructions.
