The Subsystem ID Access register is the PCI
configuration space at offset 0x48–0x4B. Once enabled
and unlocked, this register can be used to shadow
Subsystem Vendor ID/Subsystem ID data into the
appropriate PCI Subsystem registers, thus eliminating the
need for a serial EEPROM to store the data. For
