4.2.6 Client Viewer - PTZ & Preset Control
The software comes with various controls for PTZ cameras. They are provided in the
virtual PTZ panel from the side menu. The control includes:
* Pan, tilt, zoom and PTZ speed adjustment
* Preset points (total 8) monitor, go to preset “Home” point and preset sequence
viewing
* Pan right, pan left, and auto pan
* Manual focus adjustment and auto-focus
* Manual brightness adjustment and auto brightness
The software also offers a more intuitive way to control PTZ cameras with the
“mouse-over-video” PTZ controls. That is, users can click (right-click) on the video to pan and
tilt view points, and to use the mouse scroll button to zoom in/out.
This feature is only available for PTZ cameras and you can tell it is available when the “red
cross” and “red arrow” are shown on the video:
