Navigating the Viper Pro Interface

Articulated Tractor

Note:

The pivot point of an articulated tractor is center of the articulation joint.

1.

Enter the left/right offset of the GPS antenna from the pivot point. The left/right offset must be measured

perpendicular to the direction of forward travel.

2.

Select the direction of the left/right offset. To determine the offset direction, assume you are standing at the

pivot point. Is the antenna to your left or to your right?

3.

Enter the fore/aft offset of the GPS antenna from the pivot point. The fore/aft offset must be measured

parallel to the direction of forward travel.

4.

Select the direction of the fore/aft offset. To determine the offset direction, assume you are standing at the

pivot point. Is the antenna in front (fore) or behind (aft) you?

5.

Measure the distance from the pivot point to the center of the front axle.

6.

Measure the distance from the pivot point to the center of the rear axle.

7.

Measure the distance from the pivot point (center of track length) to the control point or hitch.

8.

Touch the Next button and continue to the Drill Setup section on page 110.
