Section Status Indicators

The current status of the meter gates and openers for each section is displayed in the Section Status area.

Section Off.

Any sections switches toggled to the off position will display a white background for that section

(sections 7 and 8 above). This indicates that, for this section, all meter gates are closed and the openers are

up.

Section On.

A green section display (sections 5 and 6 above) indicates that the section switch is in either the

on or SCT position and that the meter gates are open and the openers are in the ground.

Note:

Sectional Control will not automatically control meter gates and openers unless the section switch
is in the SCT position. See Chapter 7, Sectional Control Technology™ (SCT) fo
r more information
on the status indicators with the SCT and SCT Ready systems.

Meter Gates.

The upper half of each section indicator displays the status of the meter gates for that section. If

any one of the meter gates for product 1, 2, or 3 is open for that section, this area will appear green. If the

section switch is in the SCT position, and the SCT system is enabled, the meter gates indicator displays red for

any sections for which all gates are closed.

Openers.

The lower half of the section status display shows the current status of the openers. When the

opener is in the ground, the lower half will display green. If the section switch is in the SCT position, and the

SCT system is enabled, the openers indicator will display red if the openers for that section are out of the

ground, or in the process of lowering or lifting.
