Overview of the Installation Process
The following sections are intended as an overview of the Viper Pro installation process. These instructions
cover basic installation of the Viper Pro console and supplied components and cabling.
Note:
For instructions on installing additional hardware with your Viper Pro, refer to instructions provided
with the additional or optional component(s).
Basic installation of the Viper Pro system is as follows:

Review Kit contents
2.
Mounting the Viper Pro console
3.
Mounting the DGPS Receiver and Antenna
4.
Route and connect sectional control console cable
5.
Route and connect sectional control vehicle power/CAN cable
6.
Connect any optional CAN or GPS components
7.
Connect the Main Power Cable power leads to the vehicle’s battery
The following components will be installed on the tractor to be used with the Seed Hawk ® air cart system.
Before proceeding with the installation of the Viper Pro system, review this list.
CAUTION
Be sure to follow the instructions for connecting
the power leads to the battery carefully.
Reversing the power leads may cause damage
to the Viper Pro. Be sure to connect the battery
leads after all other components have been
properly mounted and connected.
