Remove paper

Cannot Feed / Press ↑ Key

Cause

Corrective Action

Roll paper is not fed on the Platen, even if you try
to feed it.

Remove any jammed roll paper in the Paper Feed
Slot and reload the roll.

Check printer settings for the paper type and source.

The printer has received a print job for a type of paper
that cannot be supplied from the paper source.

Change the paper type in the printer driver and try
printing again.

The paper in the Cassette is not loaded correctly.

Adjust the Width Guide and Length Guide to match
the paper size.

The Cassette is not inserted correctly.

Insert the Cassette rmly, all the way into the printer.

Unsupported paper is loaded in the Cassette.

Load paper that can be used in the Cassette. Refer to
the Paper Reference Guide for details on supported
paper.

Too much paper is loaded in the Cassette. The paper
height exceeds the maximum capacity.

Load the paper making sure not to exceed the
Maximum Capacity Line of the Cassette. For details
on the paper capacity, see “Specications” or the
Paper Reference Guide.

The paper is wrinkled or warped in the Cassette.

Remove the paper, straighten it, and reload it.
