Appendix I DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC ON WASTE ELECTRICAL
AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT (WEEE)
This symbol pictured here and on the transmitter of your passive sonar
system (if purchased after August 13, 2005), indicates that at its end-
of-life your passive sonar system is considered to be Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) in applicable countries of the
European Union. Where applicable WEEE must be kept separate
from other municipal waste streams and returned for proper disposal
to the producer or a licensed WEEE recycler. Since slightly different
WEEE laws have been implemented throughout the European Union,
once your passive sonar system has reached its end-of-life, contact
customer support for information regarding disposal policies and
procedures.
