External Trigger Connector Pinout

The External Trigger Connector pinout is described in the table below.

External trigger input (#1) - an input used to trigger a snapshot by applying a posi-
tive pulse (3.3V TTL, duration is not less than one period of the clock frequency).

Delayed synchronous shutter start (#2) - same as Pin # 5, but delayed by the time
specified in application program. Can be used to activate a flash.

User programmed output (#3) - user programmed output

External trigger input (#4) - same as Pin # 1, but for negative triggering pulse

Synchronous shutter start (#5) - a pulse occurs at this output when the camera is in
snapshot mode and snapshot control sequence begins. It can be used to trigger
another camera for synchronous operation or to activate a flash.

Note:

For the cameras with firmware 1.3.7.11.34 (1.4.7.11.34 - for the color models) or lower Pin# 3 of the External
Trigger Connector pinout
(User programmed output) is not available.
