Configuring a VFC interface to reject incoming RCF

requests

In a stable fabric, to avoid unnecessary disruptive reconfigurations, you can configure a VFC interface to

reject RCF requests received in a VSAN. With this feature, the switch replies with a reject message and

isolates the interface that receives the RCF request.
To configure a VFC interface to reject received RCF requests:

Enabling SNMP notifications

After you enable SNMP notifications for the fabric module or name service module, that module

generates notifications for important events and sends the notifications to the SNMP module. For more

information about SNMP notifications, see Network Management and Monitoring Configuration Guide.
To enable SNMP notifications:
