Linking objects to a data source

Renaming or saving a copy of a schema with a new name

You can rename a schema by selecting one of two items in the pop-up menu that displays
when you right-click a schema:

- This option should only be used if you have just created your schema and

would like to rename it.

- This option creates a copy of the schema while keeping the old one. Any

links to templates or control panels, for example, are preserved as long as the original
schema exists. However, if you delete the old version all data links will break.

OTE

If you have already used your schema to create tickers, snapshots etc., it is not recommended that
you use the Rename option, since the data entities will be affected by then name change, and data
links to objects will be broken. This is due to the fact that the ticker that used to be identified by
Xstudio as O

To delete a schema:
