Selecting the Interfaces
Select the parallel and the serial interface as shown below.
INTERFACE
Press the
ENTER
key to go from the top level to the second level.
Selecting the Interface Types
This function allows selection of the interface types:
PARALLEL:
Actives parallel interface.
SERIAL:
Activates both RS232 and RS422 signals,
BOTH:
The printer will respond to data on either interface.

Selecting the Interface Switching Time
This function allows selection of the automatic interface switching time.
The range is from 5 to 99 seconds.

Go back to the top level of the menu with the
PRIOR
key and press the
↓ key to select the
next menu item (PARALLEL OPTIONS displays).
