Remove the cap attached to the photo conductor unit.
❒ The cap is no longer needed and can be disposed of.

Remove the tape from around Photo Conductor Unit by peeling it down-
ward, and then remove the unit's top cover.
❒ Do not remove the cover attached to the bottom of the photo conductor unit
yet.
