- Heads Up Display -

Heads-up-displays are available in two different styles:

1)

19Ò rack-mount.

2)

Stand-alone.

The stand-alone model has a larger display than the 19Ò rack mount version. The rack-mount version

fits into one 1-3/4Ò space in a 19Ò rack. Any number of Heads Up Displays can be attached to the Smart
Brick system by simply plugging them into the wire which runs to all of the Smart Bricks from the Smart
Brick Brain and plugging the power supply into a wall outlet. The display of the stand alone version front
looks like this

The data displayed by the Heads Up Display changes slightly, depending on the time code being

used. For all time bases except for LaserDisk, the ÔMinutes/Seconds/FramesÕ show exactly what you would
expect for the show being played, with the ÔHoursÕ showing the current show number. In LaserDisk shows,
the display shows the actual LaserDisk frame number right from the LaserDisk player. While running
shows, the ÔHoursÕ always shows the number of the show being played. The ÔSmart Brick frame numberÕ
shows the actual address being accessed in all of the Smart Bricks.

During the countdown between shows, the Ôhours/minutes/secondsÕ show the countdown time until

the next show is played. The ÔFramesÕ arenÕt used during countdowns.
