12-2. Symbol input during program editing
Symbols can be input when the cursor is located at Op-1/Op-2 (operation 1/2), Post (output), or
Cond (input condition) and Sym is displayed in the function key section.

Symbol input in the following program step:
The position No. 10 is symbolized by “TAIKIITI.”
Select the F2 (Sym) key in the function key section
when the cursor is located at Op-1. The screen
moves to the Sym-Mdfy screen.
Select the item for symbol editing with a function
key. In this case, select the F4 (Posi) key to edit the
position No.
Enter 10 for the position No. with the ten-key
numeric pad and press the return key.
