The Station #3 Right Run Button normally open contact closes without the normally closed path opening.
This indicates a fault in the button or field wiring.

"LEFT #4 BUTTON FAIL"
The Station #4 Left Run Button normally open contact closes without the normally closed path opening.
This indicates a fault in the button or field wiring.

"RIGHT #4 BUTTON FAIL"
The Station #4 Right Run Button normally open contact closes without the normally closed path opening.
This indicates a fault in the button or field wiring.

"VEL > 2 x HI RANGE"
The crankshaft velocity exceeds 2 * highest operating speed range. The parameter that has been exceeded
is the right most speed setting in the Top Stop Calibration menu (see Top Stop Calibration menu). This
may be due to an incorrectly programmed parameter or an internal fault may exist with the R/D board.

"MOTOR FOR/REV FAULT"
The inputs for motor forward and motor reverse went high (+24 volts) at the same time. This fault
condition will turn the LMC output off. The error must be corrected and the RESET ERROR softkey
pressed before the LMC output will turn back on and further strokes allowed.

"MOTION W/O C/B >.1S"
Crankshaft motion exists without the clutch energized for longer that .1 seconds. Motion during the
normal stopping time of the press is not part of this check. This fault condition will turn the LMC output
off. The RESET ERROR softkey must be pressed before the LMC output will turn back on and further
strokes allowed.

"L.C. 1 CHECK FAULT"
Press control is configured to check the light curtain inputs in the upstroke and Light Curtain 1 input did
not go low (0 volt) for greater than 50mS during some portion of the upstroke.

"L.C. 2 CHECK FAULT"
Press control is configured to check the light curtain inputs in the upstroke and Light Curtain 2 input did
not go low (0 volt) for greater than 50mS during some portion of the upstroke.

"MODE IS NOT ALLOWED"
The press control is in a stroking mode that has been configured unavailable. To correct, select an
allowable press mode.

Section 8.3 Internal Faults

These faults indicate an unacceptable condition with some component of the system 5000. In addition to
providing an emergency stop, these faults will cause the LMC output to turn off. The following is a list
of these faults:

"RESOLVER/OPTIC FAULT"
