To change an output name:

1.

The operator must have access control. Access control is described in Section 3. If the user obtains
access control by using the password system, the user must be configured to have access to change
the programmable limit switch setpoints and names.

2.

When viewing the Limit Switch menu, as shown in Figure 4.8, position the cursor on the channel that
is to be changed, press the CHANGE NAME softkey. The menu in Figure 4.9 is displayed, and the
cursor positioned to description 01.

3.

Use the arrow keys to position the cursor onto the desired description and press the ENT key. All
names in memory are available by pressing the NEXT GROUP softkey.

The NO NAME softkey removes the name assigned to that channel, and the description process can be
aborted by pressing the EXIT softkey.

To edit a name description:

1.

When viewing the PLS Names menu, use the arrow keys to position the cursor on the description that
is to be changed.

2.

Press the CHANGE NAME softkey. A text entry screen will appear and the description can be
edited. See Section 2.7.
