Rugged Design
Units have been tested to conform to MIL-STD-810F
for low pressure, solar radiation, rain, humidity,
salt-fog, sand, and dust. In addition, the unit is
IP certified to the IP67 level (compliant only when
cables are connected).
The SF-3050 is also certified

to
comply with the relevant type
approval procedures for marine
equipment of the Marine Equipment
Directive (MED) 96/98/EC. The
“wheel mark” displayed to the right
signifies that the SF-3050 complies
with the MED requirements.
The rugged design of the SF-3050 system
components provides protection against the harsh
environments common to areas such as construction
sites, offshore vessels, and mines.
In some extreme shock and vibration applications,
additional isolation hardware may be required.
