Procedure
Connect the ground lead before applying power to the unit.
1 Connect a ground lead using 18- to 20-gauge wire to the terminal labeled GND.
Refer to PRISM 3030 Rear Panel on page 9.
2 Connect the positive 48 VDC lead using 22-gauge wire to the terminal labeled +.

48 VDC lead to the terminal labeled –.
3 Set the rear panel power switch to the On position. The green power LED on the
front panel should light, then the LED initialization sequence should begin. If the
indicators do not light, recheck the power connections and make sure the ON/OFF
switch is in the ON position.
