3 Wireless Interface Configuration
This section describes the 3G Wireless interface options of
the MRD-3xx. The MRD-3xx supports two modes of opera-
tion: packet mode and Circuit Switched Data (CSD) mode.
The Wireless menu contains the settings for the Wireless
Interface. To display the settings, click on the Wireless tab on
the top menu bar.
The subsections of the configuration are:
Network
Configure the operation mode, select the frequency band of
operation and set the SIM PIN.
Packet mode
Configure the packet mode.
Connection Management
Advanced configuration of the network connection.
Circuit switched mode
Configure the circuit switched data mode.
SMS
Configure the Short Message Service (SMS) functionality of
the unit.
Events
Configure the event reporting of the unit.
