Probing with crosshairs
Points can be probed using automatic or manual point entry.
Automatic point entry
To probe using crosshairs and automatic point entry:
1 Select the auto point entry crosshair probe.
2 Touch the desired measure icon button and then position the cross-
hair over the first target
point. The animated
probe button will show
the crosshair timeout delay as a dot moving clockwise around the
crosshair button until the delay is complete and the dot is positioned
at 12:00. When the de-
lay is complete, the point
will be entered.
3 Move to the next target point. Use the Cancel key to erase points collected unintentionally.
Manual point entry
To probe using crosshairs and manual point entry:
1 Select the manual point entry crosshair probe.

sition the crosshair over
the first target point and then press the Enter key.
3 Move to the next target point.
