This window lists the Archival Groups configured in the local console group. For each Archival Group the
time of the last archival backup to tape is displayed, as well as the time the next backup is due.

To initiate a backup to tape operation, select the name of the Archival Group to be written to tape by click-
ing on the name, then click Archive. The window shown in

Figure 11-17

will open.

The window contains a From entry box displaying a 0 (zero, representing the earliest possible time and
date available for data on the system) and a To entry box with the time the backup was due already
entered in the box. Either the To or From time may be changed. Click OK to continue, or click Cancel to
abort the operation. If OK is clicked, the Backup Operation window (

Figure 11-18

) will be displayed.

This is the same window used with the Backup utility; see

Section 11.2.2, Performing the Backup

for infor-

mation on use of this window. To initiate the backup to tape, click OK after the desired items have been
entered or selected.

When the dump has been completed, the tape light will go out and a pop-up window will be displayed
which contains the message:

Archive completed.

Click OK to close the window. If the dump is not successful an error message will be displayed.
