initial installation. Depending on the expiration date of the data on the CD, you might
need to update your data soon after installing JeppView. You need to update the data
only on the server; not on the client machines.

Viewing the Help File for Network Installations

Microsoft released a security patch that makes it impossible to view CHM files that
are stored on a network drive (as opposed to CHM files stored on your own
computer). The help file will appear, but instead of the topic text, you will see the
error message, "this page cannot be displayed."

If you trust all of the computers on your LAN or intranet (and the people using
them), you can use the following steps to lower the restrictions on the Local Intranet
zone to allow CHM files to be displayed:

1. Click Start > Run and enter regedit. Click OK.

2. Locate and click the following subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\HTMLHelp\1.x\ItssRestrictions
If this registry subkey does not exist, create it:

A. Right-click 1.x and choose New > Key.
