PI code registration and deletion
To use the EON function, receivable RDS stations must be pro­
grammed in the tuner.
When the PI code is registered by operating the memory nor­
mally and the same program (PI code) is preset using a different
frequency, this function will be effective for only the stations re­
ceived later regardless of the reception state.
When presetting new frequencies due to relocation to another
area, etc., there is a need to delete the registered PI codes.
Perform the following procedure.
1. Press the EON MODE button for two seconds or
more.
"ERASE PI" will be displayed.
2. Within 2 seconds, press the MEMORY button.
EON TA and News Operation
During FM broadcast reception, press the EON MODE button so
that "EON TA" is displayed and the EON mode indicator lights
up.
When the EON MODE button is pressed another time, "EON
NEWS" is displayed and the EON MODE indicator lights up.
When traffic information (TA) is received, the frequency will
change automatically and the EON indicator will flash.
When the traffic Information has ended, the input function re­
turns to the original function, that Is, to the tuner reception If it
has been TUNER or to another function if it has been other than
TUNER. During this process, the EON indicator keeps on light­
ing continuously to wait for another interrupt.
Display will return to what it was before input (waiting for inter­
rupt).
The same operations are performed when a NEWS program is
requested.
NOTES:
• If reception does not occur. "FALSE" will be displayed and
then it will wait for an interrupt.
• To cancel, press the EON MODE button.
® Simultaneous request waiting for traffic information (TA) and
News programs not possible.
Enregistrement ou effacement d'un code PI
Pour utiliser la fonction EON, les fréquences des stations RDS
doivent être mises en mémoire.Si le code PI est mis en mémoire
normalement et si le même type d'émission (code PI) est
présélectionné pour une autre fréquence, cette fonction n'est
opérante que pour les seules stations reçues ultérieurement et
cela quel que soit le mode de réception.
Lors de la mise en mémoire de nouvelles fréquences en raison,
par exemple, de l'utilisation du récepteur dans une autre région,
les codes PI enregistrés doivent être effacés.
Pour cela, procédez comme suit.
1. Appuyez sur la touche EON MODE pendant au
moins deux secondes.
L'indication "ERASE PI" s'affiche.
2. Appuyez sur la touche MEMORY (vous disposez
de deux secondes).
Réception des bulletins d'informations routières et
générales grâce à la fonction EON
Pendant la réception d'une émission FM, appuyez sur la touche
EON MODE de manière que l'indication "EON TA" s'affiche et
que le témoin EON MODE s'éclaire.
Si vous appuyez une nouvelle fois sur la touche EON MODE,
l'indication "EON NEWS" s'affiche et le témoin EON MODE
s'éclaire.
Lorsqu'un bulletin d'informations routières est reçu (fonction TA),
la fréquence du récepteur est automatiquement modifiée et le
témoin EON clignote.
Lorsque la diffusion du bulletin d'informations routières est
terminée, la source précédemment utilisée est à nouveau choisie;
cette source peut être TUNER mais ce peut être toute source
autre que TUNER. Pendant ce temps, le témoin EON demeure
éclairé dans l'attente de toute autre interruption.
Les indications affichées sont les mêmes que les précédentes
(attente de la diffusion d'un bulletin).
Les mêmes opérations sont effectuées lorsque vous avez choisi
de placer le récepteur en attente d'un bulletin d'informations
générales (NEWS).
REMARQUES:
• Si la réception est impossible, l'indication "FALSE" s'affiche
et le récepteur demeure en attente de la diffusion d'un bulle­
tin.
• Pour abandonner ce mode de fonctionnement, appuyez sur
la touche EON MODE.
• L'utilisation des données EON, la mise en attente d'un bulle­
tin d'informations routières (fonction TA) et la mise en attente
d'un bulletin d'informations générales (NEWS) ne sont pas
possible simultanément.
