When a static IP address is assigned, that controller keeps that IP address unless a hard
reset is performed, returning the controller to factory default values. The static IP assign-
ment is an optional, additional set of steps. Skip this section if your setup is stable and
you wish to stay with DHCP IP assignment.

1. If you wish to assign a static IP address or change the assigned static IP address

highlight the controller and click the browse button or double click the controller.

2. Click where it states: ‘Click Here to Login’ and the login window will appear. If a

security exception pop-up window appears, accept the exception.

3. The default username is ‘admin’ and the default password is ‘password.’ Enter

these then click Login.

4. Click okay to the pop-up that states only a default user is defined for the controller.
5. In the notes field you can add a text string that will become the controller’s descrip-

tion. If you decide to enter a text string, click the Save Notes button to save that
string.

6. Click the ‘Network’ link on the left of the configuration screen, this is where you set

the controller’s new IP address.

7. Ensure that ‘Use Static IP Configuration’ is selected then enter the available IP

address you wish for the controller to use.
