Studio Color LCD Controller

Powering On the Controller

Before continuing, make sure you have done all of the
following:

1.

Selected the controller’s voltage and frequency as described
in the section titled “Setting the Controller Voltage” on page
1-7.

2.

Installed the correct fuse as described in the section titled
“Replacing the Fuse” on page 1-9.

3.

Configured the controller’s switches as described in the
section titled “Setting the Switches” on page 2-4.

4.

Configured and connected the fixtures as described in the
section titled “Connecting Fixtures” on page 2-9. (Also see
the Studio Color User Manual for additional details, such as
mounting, not covered here.)

5.

Connected cabling to the controller as described in the
sections titled “Cables and Terminators” on page 2-14 and
“Master and Slave Controllers” on page 2-20 and “MIDI In
and Out Ports” on page 2-22
and “Other Connectors” on page
2-23.

6.

Optional. Rack mounted the controller as described in the
section titled “Rack Mounting the Controller” on page 2-25.

Procedure for Powering On

1.

Connect all fixtures to suitable power outlets. Consult the
documentation provided with the fixtures for details.

2.

Power ON all fixtures connected to the Studio Color LCD
controller. To turn on fixture power, press the “

I

” side of the

fixture’s power switch.
