When picking up the handset to
make the call, if the receiving
party is using manual reception,
have that party prepare to re-
ceive the fax.

When you hear the other fax ma-
chine answer, press START . The
transmission begins. When the
handset was lifted to make the
call, hang it up.
To end the call, hang
up the handset or press
[Monitor].
