If paper jam occurs in the bypass tray

Remove the paper in the bypass
tray.

plate

If you cannot remove the paper,
pull the knob (C3) on the slide
plate in the bypass tray and pull
the slide plate towards you.

Push down on the slide plate
with your left hand and gently
pull out the paper jammed in the
bypasstray.

Reinsert the slide plate.
