The sequence in detail:

Normal operation

 In normal operation the main controller carries out regular controller

operation.

 The MIQ/TC 2020 XT (configured as a terminal) works as a regular

terminal.

 The MIQ/TC 2020 XT (configured as a terminal) backs up the

system configuration:

– Automatic backups are carried out 2 minutes after initialization

and regularly every further 60 min.

– In addition to the automatic backup the backup can also be

started manually at any time (see section 4.9.3). The timer for the
automatic backup is reset for this.

– The automatic backup is always only carried out in the measuring

state (normal measured value display). If the MIQ/TC 2020 XT is
in another operating state, the next backup is carried out as soon
as a switch is made again to the measuring state.

– If a backup fails, e.g. because another terminal is in the setting or

calibration mode, a new backup is attempted after 30 s. After
three failed attempts the next automatic backup takes place after
60 min.

– During the backup a message appears on the display. If desired,

the running backup can be canceled with the <ESC> or <M>key.

 The MIQ/TC 2020 XT receives ongoing information on the status of

the main controller.
