Expanded programs

1. Press Drift Check in the "Optical Checks" menu.

2. Press

λ to select the wavelength.

3. Enter the wavelength and press OK to confirm your

selection.

4. Press Start.

The drift check lasts one hour.

This test takes a reading every minute for one hour. Every
fifteen minutes, linear regression is used to calculate the
slope (rate of change) for the previous fifteen minute interval.

The last reading and slope for each 15 minute interval are
displayed. At the end of the hour, the overall values are
calculated and displayed. The test proceeds to completion.

5. Press Cancel to return to Optical Checks.

AQA - Analytical Quality Assurance

1. Press AQA in the System Checks menu to configure AQA

measurement or AQA in the toolbar to the right of the
display, to carry out AQA measurement.

The AQA menu in System Checks contains the program for
checking the analytical quality. Configuration is done here,
for example the individual working method being controlled by
standard solutions or the cross-sensitivities of the analyses
identified by standard additon solutions, multiple determinations
and dilutions.

As optional accessories for full individual control, standard and
top-up solutions are available (

Section 9, Page 145

).

6.7.4.1

AQA Standard configuration

The working method, photometers, and accessories can be
checked by the analysis of a standard solution.

1. Press AQA Standard

A screen with standard sets opens (not available on all
models), alternatively an individual standard can be defined.

2. Select Options > New to define a new standard.

Note: If a standard has not yet been defined, in some models the
alphanumeric keypad is displayed directly.

3. Enter the name of the standard solution and confirm with

OK.
