6.7.7

Service time

In order to make sure a regular inspection is performed, an
automatic memory reference for the service times can be
entered. After switching the instrument on, this memory reference
will be activated and indicated at the appropriate time.

1. Press Service Time in the "System Check" menu.

2. Activate the On checkbox.

3. Press Last service.

4. Enter the date of the last service.

5. Press OK to confirm the selection.

6. Activate the options field under Next service.

7. Select a time interval for the next service.

8. Press OK to confirm the selection.

When the next service is due the report "Next service due!!" is
displayed when the instrument is switched on.

9. Press OK to return to the Main Menu.

Contact the manufacturer to schedule the next service date.

Lamps operating time

The "Lamp History" menu provides the following information:

Total operating hours of lamp.

Number of activation and burn cycles of lamp.

Number of ignition attempts of UV lamp (triggers).

After a lamp change the display of the overall operating time is
reset to 0 in the "Lamp History" menu.

1. Press Lamp History in the "System Checks" menu.

2. To reset the data for the halogen lamp (VIS visible), tap on

Reset VIS. The data for the visible lamp is reset to 0.

To reset the data for the deuterium lamp (UV), tap on Reset
UV
. Data relating to the UV lamp is reset to 0.

3. Press OK to return to the "System Check" menu.
