BASIC OPERATION
Automatic Operation with A/M Ratio Bias
If ratio, bias or ratio/bias was enabled in the RAT BIAS MENU, the instrument
display will resemble the examples below.
[AUT] indicates that the station is in
automatic mode.
Ratio and/or bias source is local or
remote as selected in RAT BIAS
MENU (remote requires installation of
an option board).
Remote/Local switch is disabled
[RAT] indicates that the ratio value is
displayed in the lower engineering
display.

indicates that the
UP
and
DN
keys can be used to change the ratio
value in automatic. The initial ratio
value is configured in the TUNE
MENU.
1) Press the scroll key to advance to
bias, if bias was enabled in the RAT
BIAS MENU.

value in automatic. The initial bias
value is configured in the TUNE
MENU.
2) Press scroll key again to display
output in percent, then press again to
return to ratio.
