TOTALIZER OPERATION
• Scale Factor
This feature allows custom scaling of the totalized value. The reciprocal
of the entered value (0.001 to 30000) is used as the totalizer scale factor.
OPERATION OF CONTROLLER USING TOTALIZATION
The operating procedure for integration/totalization is very similar to that of a
controller without totalization enabled. After the totalizer has been configured
in the TOTALIZE MENU, return to the DISPLAYS MENU and scroll until the
display appears similar to the example below.
Mode can be AUT or MAN.
Setpoint can be LOC, LO2, LO3, LO4,
or REM
Scroll to totalizer entry prompt (TOT)
from the SPT and OUT displays.
Press the up key to access the totalizer
status display (see below).
Scroll to monitor totalized count display
(totalizer can be on or off) and scroll
again to see and manipulate totalizer
reset (see below).
Totalizer Status Display
The totalizer status display can indicate whether the totalizer is in the hold
state or the run state. If the totalizer is in [RUN], pressing the down key
places the totalizer in the [HOLD] state. The totalized value stops counting in
the hold state and begins again when placed in the run state. If the totalizer is
in [HOLD], pressing the up key places the totalizer in the [RUN] state. When
in hold, TZH will alternate with the auto or manual display.
Totalizer Reset Display
Pressing the up key at the reset prompt [RESET] resets the totalized count to
the preset value and the count continues if the totalizer is in the [RUN] mode
(display returns to count value). If a configure or tune password has been
configured but not entered, you must go back and enter the correct password
(press TAG, enter password, and return to get the reset display).
