INSTALLATION
OUTPUT SIGNAL CONNECTIONS
Output connections are shown as follows:
•
mA Outputs - see Figure 11
•
Voltage Outputs - see Figure 12
•
Relay Outputs - see Figure 13
The analog control output is always a milliamp signal as shown in Figure 11.
When an application requires a voltage signal, a precision dropping resistor
must be connected across the output terminals to generate the required
voltage as shown in Figure 12.
Output 2 is available when an option card is installed. Output 2 is a non
isolated 0 to 54 mA output with the same specifications as the standard analog
control output. Connections to Output 2 are made as shown in Figures 11 and
12, using the terminals identified as I/O 2.
Digital outputs are provided by 3 relays. Either one or two of the relays can
be configured as control outputs (see
Table 1, Base Configuration ). Relays
which are not used for control can be used for alarms or various other
functions (see
Table 5, Output Relays Setup Menu).
NOTE:
If any relay output circuit voltage is greater than 30 Volts, see the
Warning under Wiring Guidelines.
