Press Yes to add the location. (You can only select or define new loca-
tions for the currently selected site.)

To check in additional items, repeat steps 2-3 as necessary.
If you check in an item that contains past due information, you will be
notified that the item is past due and asked if you want to check in the
item anyway. Select Yes to check in the item. The past due information
appears in the Check In form.

Press Do It to process the items and reset the form or press Close to
process the items and return to the dashboard.

After completing the steps above, inventory data is contained in the data-
base. However, these items will not contain detailed data (description,
manufacturer, model, etc.). Enter detailed data following the steps
detailed in

“Edit Existing/Incomplete Item Data” on page 129

.

Maintenance and Calibration Transactions

The maintenance and calibration feature enables you to record the mainte-
nance or calibration transaction for an Item ID. To record a Maintenance or
Calibration transaction in the system, please refer to the instructions that
follow.

1.

Select Manage Command Tab > Check In Command Set > Mainte-
nance
and Calibration option from the ribbon.
