If you sent security data to the Batch Portable application, the Batch Porta-
ble application security settings are the same as the workstation security
settings. Hence, your workstation user ID and password (if applicable) are
also applied to the Batch Portable application. (If you are not using pass-
words to log into the workstation application, your Batch Portable applica-
tion will not contain a Password field on the Login screen.) To log into the
application, tap the drop-down arrow in the User ID field and select your
user name from the list that appears. If your system is password protected,
enter your user password in the Password field. (Use the keypad towards
the bottom of the screen to enter your user information.) Tap the Login
button. The Check In-Out Batch Portable application Main screen appears.
The Main Screen
All application options are available from this screen:
• The Check In/Out button contains three options.
The Check In option performs an item check in.
The Check Out options performs an item check out.
The Retire option retires an item from inventory.
• The Issue/Receipt button contains two options.
The Issue option perform an inventory issue.
The Receipt option performs an inventory receipt.
• The Inventory button contains two options.
The Physical Inventory option performs a physical inventory for con-
sumable items and for check out items.
The Move option allows inventory to be relocated in your facility.
• The Find button will display data for the selected data option.
