Introduction

The Purge function manages application data by deleting old or obsolete
information from the application. This keeps the database size to a mini-
mum and improves system performance. Data is purged at the Purge form.

Caution:IntelliTrack strongly recommends performing a complete data-
base backup before using purge functions.

A Note About Sample Data

The application ships with sample test data. Use this data to become famil-
iar with the application. Before using your own data with Check In-Out,
PURGE the sample data from the application by selecting the Tools menu
tab > Purge ribbon options. For more information about purging data from
the application, please refer to the following sections.

Note: Before establishing your warehouse sites, locations, item numbers,
and item quantities, you must purge the existing sample data from the sys-
tem.
