If the item ID exists in the system, the Site field is automatically recog-
nized by the system to be the site associated with the selected item ID.
If the item ID is new, the system requires a site selection. Enter the site
associated with the item ID in the Site field.

If the item ID exists in the system, the location is the normal location
(when not checked out) associated with the item ID; the system does
not require a location entry.
If the item ID is new, the system requires a location selection. Enter the
location associated with the Item ID in the Location field.

If the item ID exists in the system, the item number is the item associ-
ated with the item ID; the system does not require an item number
entry.
If the item ID is new, the system requires an item number entry. Enter
the item number associated with the item ID in the Item # field.

7.

Select the Check In button to process the check in transaction.
If the Show Transaction History option is selected in the Batch Porta-
ble Application Options screen, the transaction will appear in the
Recent Transactions grid towards the bottom of the form.
Repeat steps 2-7 until you have completed all check in transactions.

8.

When you are finished at the Check In screen, tap the ok button to
return to the Main screen.

Checking Out Inventory

The check out transaction checks out or assigns inventory to a customer or
employee. The system identifies the item as being checked out until it is
returned or checked back into inventory.
