Setting System Options
System options are set in the Options portion of the form. To set system
options, please refer to the instructions below.
1. Click the Options button found along the bottom of the Setup form.
2. The Options portion of the form is brought to the front.
3. The following options are available:
Caution:The History Logging, Pictures, and Sites options alter the way
Check In-Out operates. Test your application with sample data to deter-
mine the optimum operating environment. With the exception of the Pic-
tures option, once your options are set, DO NOT reset them because it may
result in data conflicts or unexpected results.
Site: Check this box to track multiple sites in the system. Each site can
have unique storage locations. If the Site option is not enabled, the
default system site defaults to {0}. When you do not enable the Site
option, the system does not allow you to use or add multiple sites.
Lots/Cust/Serial#: Mark this box to track your inventory items by lot,
customer, or serial number.
Exp Date: To track expiration dates for items with or without Lots for
inventory stored in a location, check this box. If not enabled, the under-
lying data is dated 1/1/30 (January 1, 1930).
