1.5 ADMINISTRATION OVERVIEW

Web ViewPoint has an administrative feature through which the administrator can control the different features of
Web ViewPoint like Business Application Manual, Event Management, Message Center and License. Access-control
is another feature in the Admin section where the administrator is required to define User Accounts and what
permissions (i.e. menu items) they are allowed to see/use. For more details see,

Administration

. This feature can

be accessed through the same port number as the user port and going to the Admin tab in the menu.

1.6 WEB VIEWPOINT LITE OVERVIEW

This module of Web ViewPoint allows a user to access the Events Live, Query and Token Analyzer features only (i.e.
an abbreviated version). The security is controlled by the owner of Web ViewPoint. Starting from AAS-AAT release
the user logon requirement is a param-driven option. For more details see,

Web ViewPoint Lite

instead of FDIST is an option for the Lite event viewer unless EMS compiled filters are used.
