6.1 SOFTWARE SUPPORT

6.2 HARDWARE & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
Hardware:
HP NonStop Server with minimum OS release as:
H06.10 onward
J06.03 onward
Recommended PC configuration (but not mandatory:
2 GB RAM minimum
Dual-Core CPU class
CPU Speed 2.1GHz or faster
Software:
Measure
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 and later (Note: Browser Settings are discussed below)
Java RunTime Environment (JRE) 1.6_24 or later (see WVP RTE Summary for full details - location defined below)
General Considerations:
 Please download and review the latest WVP RTE (RunTime Environment) Compatibility Summary to ensure
your Windows environment is compatible with your particular version of WVP. The latest RTE Summary can
be found on the 'Downloads -> Documentation' page at
http://www.hpWebViewPoint.com
 Please be aware that mixing 64-bit and 32-bit Windows software components may cause issues with IE and
WVP. Please refer to latest RTE Summary (mentioned above) for compatibility requirements and
considerations for 32bit and 64bit configurations.
 Web ViewPoint uses popups and cookies. This may cause Web ViewPoint not to work on Browsers that have
cookies disabled or where system or antivirus utilities have popup blockers.
 Web ViewPoint uses java applets that need the JVM installed on the Internet Explorer browser. In newer
versions of Internet Explorer, the JVM is not pre-installed and has to be installed separately. You will not able
to logon to Web ViewPoint without the JVM. To install the JVM, download and install the Oracle Java runtime
from
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index-jsp-138363.html .
 Web ViewPoint currently works only on the Internet Explorer browser.
 The browser gets loaded with NonStop content and Java plugins. Therefore please be patient and make sure
all loading messages clear before proceeding. These are Loading…, Loading Settings, and Loading Applet…
