Object Manager Tree: When Object Manager starts up, the user sees three frames as under:

 The leftmost frame is known as the “Tree Frame” which contains several Objects.
 The right frame having labels regarding the object, instance and command is known as the “Command

Frame”.

 The bottom frame is known as the “Results Frame”, which contains command output.

The tree lists the different residents that belong to the neighborhood logged on to. The Object Manager tree of the
“home node” is displayed. To navigate to the Object Manager tree of another resident, simply click on that node
and a new window displaying the Object Manager for that resident will be displayed.

The Object Manager object tree contains a set of commands which are designed to help with the management of
the “Object Tree” and its display. Once Object Manager starts, this menu can be accessed by clicking on the root
node ‘Object Tree’. This pops up a menu listing the different operations possible.

Each of these operations is explained as under:

A. Collapse Tree: This command collapses the tree such that only the root nodes are shown. Note that this

operation does not affect the NonStop resident tree database.

B. Populate Tree: This command populates all objects in the tree with instances. A confirmation box is displayed

asking "This operation collapses the tree display and reloads object instances. Empty folders are removed. The
NonStop object database is not affected. Ok?". If "OK" is clicked, the tree is traversed from top to bottom, and
instances are loaded from the OCM. The results frame shows what object is currently processed. Dependent
