Options…’ button. Specify the following parameters that are used when a message is written to HP OpenView and
click ‘Done’:

Group Name:
This parameter specifies the recipients of the notifications. Based on the notification period selected,
each member of the Group Name receives the subscribed event. Notifications will be sent only if the subscribed
events occur in the specified period of the particular user of the selected Group.
For SNMP, select the Host that will receive the SNMP trap. This list is populated from the receivers specified in the
Admin->System Settings->SNMP Receiver section.

Duplicate Gap:Notifications are sent out for every event match that occurs. For same events that occur inside a
small interval, this may cause repeated notifications to be sent out. Duplicate Gap is used to control the flow of
notifications. Only one notification is sent out for the same events that occur ‘Duplicate Gap’ seconds after the last
notification was sent out for that event.
