Delete Subscription: Check the check box corresponding to the subscription(s) to be deleted and click on the

'Delete' button. Multiple subscriptions can be deleted simultaneously.

Test Speak: When the 'Test Speak' button is clicked, the Desktop Component plays (speaks out) the text

entered in the 'Custom Message' textbox. Please note that the voice will be heard on the desktop on which
the Message Center Setup is installed and running with a green indicator.

The following functions are available in the voice subscription set up page:

Duplicate Gap: The time to wait between matching events before sending out a notification.
Repeat: Number of times the voice notification is to be played by the Desktop Component.
(Note: The Until ACKed option should be used sparingly for only critical events. The Message Center blocks while
“speaking” messages and hence can result in backlog of messages and/or inconsistent behavior).
Search Text:Specify the text that should be matched before displaying the subscription. Multiple search criteria
can be specified using ‘And’ ‘Or’. Do not include any spaces between the operators. Eg: To search for MSMGR and
connect use MSMGR&connect and not MSMGR & connect.
Customize Message: Specify what information will be included in the voice notification.

3.2.4.6 SUPPORT RESOURCES

This screen lists the profiles of the support resources that have already been configured. The detailed information
of the resource is displayed in the lower pane i.e. their first name, last name, status, email cell number and service
provider. There is a dependency between the Event management’s On Call Schedule & the Support Resource. In
order to schedule alert notifications, it is mandatory that a support resource should be added there by allowing the
user to select the resource & schedule alerts by specifying the desired time slots.

Note: Basic user format validation is done. Existence of the specified user within NonStop/Safeguard is not done.
There is no error message dialog for non-existent Group.User/Alias.

The following operation can be performed:

Add Support Resource: Clicking on the ‘Add Support Resources’ icon will open up a pop up. Enter all the

required information and select the list of service providers is populated from the list specified in the Phone
Carrier section of the Message Center and then click on ‘Save’. The user is then added and displayed on the
parent page. Please note that all the fields are required fields.

Update Profile: Select the user to update by clicking on the pencil icon on the extreme right. The

corresponding information is populated in the textboxes. Update the information and click the 'Update'
button.
