Note:The shared environment poses no restrictions on retrieval of non-sensitive data from all objects in the tree.
However, generic TACL commands and sensitive button commands can only be issued by the OCM owner or a
super group user. The OCM shared environment can be converted into a non-shared environment by having the
owner of the OCM specify a logon member list. Since by definition the shared environment allows any user with a
valid password to log on, the existence of such a list, even if it only contained one member which could be the
owner itself, turns $OCM into a non-shared environment. Other access lists, such as for tacl commands and
sensitive commands, require a logon access list to be present. If it is not, the user will not be allowed to log on.

SCRIPT MANAGEMENT:
Object Manager is characterized by environments. Environments are processes of WCMX program. Each
environment maintains its own set of database files. An environment in Object Manager characterizes the Object
tree and the security involved. The Object Manager GUI provides various ways by which you can configure an
Object Manager Environment (Refer to the previous section on configuration commands). Another way to manage
environments is by means of an edit file called ‘Object Manager Script File’. The script file contains object tree and
security specification configuration that can be applied to an existing environment by means of ‘Load Tree’
configuration command. Following is an example of one such script file:

Example: Sample Script File:
