Enable/ Disable a Group:If you wish to change the status of a Group from enabled to disabled or vice-versa,
then select that group from the list, select Enable or Disable option and click on Apply.

Delete Group:A group (its defined user(s)) can be deleted by clicking on the Delete Group button on the
extreme right.

Add User to a Group:

 Select the group to which you want to add user(s) from the Group list.
 Add the users that you want to include in this group by selecting from the Available Users list and clicking

on the Add button.

 Check the time slots in the grid for which you want to schedule the user(s).
 Click Apply.

As a result of the above steps, you would see that the ‘Show on-call schedule for’ list will be populated with
the user(s) that you have defined with ‘All’ pre-selected in the list and the time-slots with a light green
background.

View a User’s schedule:Under the Show on-call schedules for: dropdown list select the user whose schedule
you wish to check. If the selected user is the only assignee to a time slot, the background of that slot will be
dark green, but if he shares the slot with other user(s) then the background will be bright green. The Assigned
Resources list will show all the users that have also been scheduled in the time slots for which the selected
user is scheduled.

Edit/ Update a Group’s schedule:
 Select the Group for the schedule you wish to change.
 Define the new schedule by checking / un-checking the time slots. For the user’s convenience there is a

Check / Uncheck all scheduled button.

 You can also modify the schedules of other user(s) by adding or removing them to/from the Available

Resources list.

 Clicking on Reset button will restore the lists to their original state.
 Clicking on Apply will update the schedule for the specified user(s).

Remove User from a Group:Select the user that has to be deleted from the list. Click Remove User. Please
note that the ‘Remove User’ button gets enabled only after you select a user from the list.

3.3 OBJECT CONTROL MANAGER (OCM)

3.3.1 OVERVIEW

As the name suggests, the Object Manager manages the configuration & status information for instances of
TANDEM or USER subsystem & objects. Present under the ‘Operations’ tab, this feature is made available to the
users only when the PARAM SHOWENHANCED is set to YES in WCPCONF file, more information is provided in

Section 2.7

.In the sections below the brief overview, administrative features & security of Object Manager is

discussed.

ENVIRONMENTS:

Object Manager operates using a concept called environments. Object Manager uses the program WCMX for its
operations. Every process instance of the program WCMX is called an environment. The environment contains
