Notice that there is a List button next to each log file entry box. This is to aid you to locate a file of your interest.
The following is a description of how this button works:

 On your first click, when the entry box is empty, it displays a list of disk drives. You may click on a disk to select

it. Its name will be carried to the entry box.

 If you have already selected or entered the name of a disk/volume, a click on the same List button exposes a

list of sub-volumes. You may click on a sub-volume name to select it. Its name will be carried to the entry box.

 If you have already selected or entered the name of a disk/volume & sub-volume (e.g. $data1.subvol1), a click

on the same List button exposes a list of files of the file type expected by the entry box (Log). For instance, a
log file entry will look for log files (type 843), and a template file entry will locate template files (type 839). All
other file types will be ignored and not displayed. If available, click on a file of your choice to have its name
transferred to the entry box and appended to the volume and sub-volume name already in place.

Next enter the name of the compressed file (fully qualified). Click on the Submit button to have the selected
log files and template file compressed and placed in the stated file.

Note that the PAK utility is used for this compression. This is a common utility widely used in the hp NonStop
community. It is expected that your target audience will be able to easily use the same utility to decompress
these files, and use Web ViewPoint to view their content.
