IP address / fully qualified DNS name:Corresponding IP address of the NonStop server in standard format. DNS
names are also allowed.
Installation subvolume: Specifies the target $volume.subvolume where Web ViewPoint will be installed. Volume
name must start with '$' with a maximum length of 8 ASCII characters. The maximum length of a subvol is also 8
ASCII characters. Examples: $GUEST.SUBVOLS, $SYSTEM.WVP8500, etc.
TCP process name: Name of the TCP/IP process on the NonStop server. The process name must start with '$' with
a maximum length of 6 ASCII characters. Examples: $ZTC0, $ZTCP02, etc.

2.3.1.3 MULTINODE

The second window of the installation Wizard gives you a choice of single-node or multi-node installation. Select
‘Multi-node’ radio button and click ‘Next. All nodes during a multi-node installation must be of the same type, e.g.
two G-series nodes or three H-series nodes. Post-install, nodes of different types can be added to the
neighborhood using the SYNC program.

The next window is designed to gather information for multiple residents. There are five input fields:

Installation subvolume: Target $volume.subvolume where Web ViewPoint will be installed. This will be used as the
installation subvolume for all residents in the neighborhood. Volume name starts with '$' and total length is 8.
Subvolume name can be at most 8 characters long. Examples: $GUEST.SUBVOLS, $SYSTEM.WVP8500 etc.
TCP process name: Name of the TCP/IP process on the NonStop server. The process name must start with '$' with
a maximum length of 6 characters. Examples: $ZTC0, $ZTCP02, etc.
Neighborhood name: User defined reference name of a group of residents. The name should start with an alpha
letter followed by alphanumeric values to a maximum length of 20 characters. Examples: TESTGRP, DRCGROUP,
RETAILBANKING, WESTWOOD, etc.
Resident name: The system defined Node name of the NonStop server. The Resident Name must match the Node
name configured on the NonStop server. The name must begin with '\' with a maximum length of 8 ASCII
characters, including '\'. Examples: \SIERRA, \DRP17, \PROD01, \PROD02, etc.
IP address / fully qualified DNS name: Corresponding IP address of the NonStop server in standard format. DNS
names are also allowed in this input field.

'Add' and 'Delete' can be used to manage Residents/IP lists shown in this page. Once the Resident name and the
corresponding IP address are specified, you can either press Enter or click 'Add' to add the Resident name/IP to the
list. If the Resident name and IP are not already in the list, the pair will be added. Otherwise, an error message
about the duplicate entry will be shown. Similarly one or more Resident name/IP can be selected from the lists and
can be removed by clicking 'Delete'.

2.3.1.4 COMMON INSTALLATIONS STEPS

Once resident configuration (single or multi-resident) is complete, the Wizard will go through the following
sequence of steps:

Process name configuration: This page defines names for nine required processes. Names are based on a common
prefix (configurable). The prefix must start with '$'. The maximum length of the prefix, including '$', is 4 ASCII
characters. Examples: $WV5, $WVP, etc. For example, if the prefix is $WV5, then Process Manager is $WV501;
Listener is $WV502; CPU Analyzer Process is $WV503 etc. The default process name prefix is $WV5. This page
contains a 'Finish' button. If you click this button, next three pages will be skipped; system default values will be
