3.2.3 LICENSE ADMINISTRATION

LICENSE MANAGEMENT:
This feature allows the management of licenses of Web ViewPoint and its plugins located in different nodes. If
connection to the internet is available through the browser, Web ViewPoint retrieves the licenses for the product
and its plugins automatically. Also periodically, depending on the time to expiry date, WVP attempts to refresh the
license. This feature allows manual refreshing which allows the Administrator to proactively update the license.
This feature can be accessed in the Admin menu by traversing to License under Admin.

It displays the licenses of Web ViewPoint and any plugins. The expiry date of the licenses is also displayed. An
expiry date of 9999-12-31 indicates a permanent license. Clicking on the Refresh button corresponding to the
license will cause Web ViewPoint to communicate with the hpWebViewPoint.com website and retrieve the latest
license.

CONTACT INFORMATION:
The contact information tab under licenses shows the details about the person who activated Web ViewPoint.
There is a dropdown to select the node for which you wish to see the contact details.
The information can be edited by clicking on the Edit button and the user has the option to ‘Save’ new fields,
‘Reset’ the fields to their original values or ‘Cancel’ the changes.
